It all started with Enzo, the Gordon Setter/Lab mix we adopted from a local rescue organization. He was a three-month old puppy who’d already been through so much and to us, he was absolutely perfect. He was a sensitive, old-soul, with the most easy-going, sweet disposition. He was willing to do just about anything for a treat and he gave THE best hugs.

I made my first doggie blanket for him when he was just a puppy and it was his faithful companion until he lost his fight with cancer at just 5 years old.
Losing him was one of the hardest things I’ve ever experienced, and I still miss him every day; I don’t think I’ll ever fill the hole he left in my heart.
But out of great loss comes great determination, and Cozy Pupz was born. I am constantly awed and amazed by the work that rescue organizations do, and I wanted to find a way to help. So, I do this in memory of Enzo, the sweetest dog that I ever knew, and in honor of all the wonderful people who help, adopt and love rescue pups.
